Wow, can you believe that it’s already June, i.e. we’re already halfway through 2020!

I realized that this year has been quite challenging for most of us and most of the things that we used to do suddenly changed. Even in investing, I understand that most of us are still adjusting to the “new normal” and are still carefully analyzing what lies ahead in the future.

To help you with your decisions, here are some of my thoughts about how we should cope with this pandemic:

1.Don’t’ stop investing. Historically, real estate always works and you just need to adapt to market changes. In other words, STAY FLEXIBLE.

2.Buy for less. Make sure when you make an offer, it is the price that you can live with if the value drops over the next 3-6 months.

3.Expect lenders to tighten borrowing requirements. Understandably, they also fear of future risk and also want to keep their funds secure for themselves.

Remember, we’re very early in the “new reality” and what’s coming is hard to predict. Stay aware, stay flexible, stay informed, stay in touch with other investors. There’s always money to be made in real estate.
